Agent Spotlight: Jackie Guerra

Realtor® Jackie Guerra, born and raised in Tampa, has a deep knowledge of the Big Guava. She even graduated among the top three students at Alonso High School – a year early! Jackie went on to work as an assistant for a homeowners insurance agency as she studied for her ultimate career in real estate.

“I found the world of real estate to be a unique way to help my local community while doing something I love,” said Jackie. “I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and decided I wanted to apply that towards assisting clients as they make one of the most significant investments of their lives. The sense of responsibility I gain from this field drives me to provide only the best results. I decided on real estate as my career because it demands a passion for helping clients and a constant willingness to seek out solutions for them.”

As a lifelong Tampa resident, Jackie is also passionate about her hometown.

“I’ve seen this great city evolve since I was little, from a fairly quiet city to the center of attention!” she said. “Not to mention the amazing climate and no state income taxes! Tampa is known as one of those cities close to everything, whether it is the beach, your favorite spring, or Disney World! Very few places like this exist, and I am a proud Tampa resident.”

Jackie’s experience with homeowners insurance gave her the vital foundation of communication skills while assisting clients over the phone with their insurance needs. She consequently learned more about all the processes homeowners must go through before closing on their home purchases. From this, Jackie gained a new understanding of effective ways to be of best aid to customers.

“I have certainly learned how to navigate situations where perhaps clients have difficult decisions to make,” said Jackie. “I have provided them with a clear and easy-to-understand view of their options to make the process less stressful. And I know that in real estate, an infinite number of scenarios can occur.”

Determined to see all her goals through, Jackie enjoys the process that leads up to the completion of objectives. She works expeditiously and effectively and does not stop until plans are fulfilled.

Jackie is the daughter of two parents in the dental field. Her brother works for Jerry Ulm. They all enjoy helping their clients and improving their quality of life. She and her family are all from Cuba and are bilingual. They are a big, tight-knit family that celebrates birthdays every few weeks. Jackie also has a Frenchie named Ace.

Passionate about charity and outdoor events, Jackie participates in races supporting the local community. She enjoys spending time in nature and pushing her limits. Jackie plays volleyball, runs, reads often, and is an avid financial nerd. “I am always trying to learn new things,” she said. “It can range anywhere from learning about tax code loopholes to ways to improve running form to reading poetry.”
