Military Service with Purpose

Joshua Velazquez, REALTOR® is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and licensed REALTOR® based in Tampa, Florida. Born in Miami and raised between Florida and Georgia, he has called Tampa home since 2018, when he was stationed at MacDill Air Force Base. He retired from the military in 2019 after a career filled with technical excellence and leadership.

Joshua began his military service in Egress, where he worked on ejection systems for aircraft such as the A-10, F-15, F-16, and F-22. Later, he served as a Warranted Contracting Officer. In that role, he awarded and managed federal contracts, both in the U.S. and abroad. These roles taught him precision, negotiation, and the ability to adapt quickly—skills he now uses every day in real estate.

From Federal Contracts to Florida Real Estate

After retiring, Joshua chose real estate because of his passion for homes, design, and helping others. He is driven by the desire to assist others in finding their perfect home or investment and to buy and sell properties of his own.

He also has big plans. Real estate is just the beginning—he aims to one day earn his contractor’s license and complete an architecture degree. His ultimate goal is to start his own design-build company, combining his experience, vision, and love for Florida homes.

Joshua brings his military mindset to every client interaction. He’s meticulous with contracts, skilled in negotiation, and understands how to navigate complex situations. His time overseas taught him how to communicate effectively—even when language or cultural barriers exist. These qualities make him a flexible, dependable agent who puts client goals first.

He specializes in helping fellow veterans, active-duty military members, and first-time homebuyers across the Tampa Bay area. Whether buying, selling, or investing, clients trust Joshua to guide them with patience, honesty, and a service-first approach.

A Life Full of Energy and Passion

Outside of real estate, Joshua enjoys staying active. He plays softball and kickball, and he’s learning how to kiteboard. He’s also a poker player and a bourbon enthusiast with a growing collection. His dog, Cap N Morgan, is a Miniature Pinscher and his sidekick in Tampa.

Joshua’s easygoing personality, sense of humor, and love for people make him easy to work with. He values relationships, and many describe him as someone who always puts others first.
